I’m drawn to stories that move slowly and deliberately, where characters are shaped as much by what they lose as by what they gain.

Fantasy, to me, is a way to look more closely at reality, be it through symbolism, restraint, or through older stories retold in new ways.

When I’m not writing, I’m usually reading, traveling, listening to soundtracks, or collecting fragments of ideas that may one day become stories.
